Itinerary Pratopiazza 26 km route with medium difficulty

The departure of this route to go by bike is at the station, riding in the direction of Dobbiaco you arrive at Fiames and hospitable, and easily you can reach the Cimabanche at an altitude of 1530 m, after approximately 13 km.Pedaling along Hwy 51 for a stretch of 2 km, you arrive at the entrance of the dirt road that climbs towards Pratopiazza,

waymark number 37. it is a pleasant walk for about 7 km with constant slopes on 7/8% on good dirt that alternates to potholed.The first stretch of road of 5 km is nestled in the Woods, and while the vegetation becomes more sparse, you reach the plateau of Prato Piazza. continuing through the plateau at the foot of the Croda Rossa mountain, surrounded by a wonderful landscape from different shades of color, remaining still riding the bicycle to the Prato Piazza after 25 km, at an altitude of 1991m.Return towards Cortina can be done in two ways; the first is to return back to the same road, or alternatively to Cimebanche (a dangerous path and not entirely passable).

The return can be made to the Puster Valley, along the cycle track, passing through Villabassa you get to have, and here we are a long former railroad Cimabanche.
