Itinerary Pian de ra Spines 7 km Path easy
This route is the most classic of the Ampezzo basin, easy growing along the plain of Fiames surrounded by a charming landscape.It starts from the hotel Fiames at 5 km from the town centre of Cortina, we take the dirt road, closed by rail, we dive in a perfectly flat, within a dense forest up to the banks of Torrente Boite after one kilometre. Arrived at the Lido, Cape Verde, a small beach on the shore of the River, served as a bar to make a stop and admire the landscape.
Going up a little we are at the entrance to the Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti d'Ampezzo, past another bar, and ride to a bridge over the Rio Felizon, then take the route 417, and following the descent we dive in a dense forest and shady at the foot of the Col Rosà. pedalling in a flat trail are the Pian de ra Spines, at an altitude of 1310m, continuing the descent we are towards the Camping Olympia. Exceeded the Boite, take the path towards Fiames that brings us close to the gliding Aeroclub, we dive in a stretch of woodland near the highway, and we have returned to the Hotel Fiames.
