Ice stadium Olympic

Olympic ice stadium was inaugurated in 1955, during the VII Olympic Winter Games, to host the opening and closing of this event and to host sport competitions on the ice.

The building of reinforced concrete clad in wood (pine, spruce and larch), was originally opened with an open air structure, but in the following decades was closed by a modern steel structure and glass (this allows the use of the plant even in summer and even in bad weather conditions).

The skating area measure 4,320 m2. Has a capacity of 7,000 spectators (2,000 in bleachers and 5,000 in the gallery). The Olympic Stadium is open to the public both in winter and in summer with a skating rink, solarium, bar service and a small playground for children.
